After coaching over 700 clients, one thing is clear, everyone has their own unique challenges: physical, mental, lifestyle, or family. And trust me, I get it. My fitness journey hasn’t been a smooth, straightforward path.
I wasn’t the athletic, fit kid growing up. Far from it. At 12 years old, I weighed over 240lbs. I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself, to feel like fitness is an impossible mountain to climb. But here’s the thing: there’s always a way back. It may not be the path you expected, but trust me, it’s possible to regain your health, your strength, and, most importantly, yourself.
My struggles with weight sparked an obsession with understanding food and how it impacts us. That curiosity led me to study food science, diving deep into how ingredients affect our brains, appetites, and body composition on a molecular level. I spent 8 years working with companies like Kraft Foods and GlaxoSmithKline, learning everything I could about how nutrition shapes our health.
But something kept nagging at me. As much as I enjoyed learning, I wanted to take that knowledge and help people directly. So, I left my corporate job, became a qualified personal trainer, and started coaching clients across the UK, Australia, Taiwan, and the USA.
It was during this time that I noticed a troubling pattern. Many clients felt like they had to pause their entire lives to "become gym bros" for 90 Days just to get in shape. They believed they had to eat like bodybuilders, train like athletes, and revolve their entire existence around fitness. And while some made progress, most ended up feeling frustrated, burned out, only to fall back into their old routines and end up right where they started.
That experience changed the way I approached coaching. Fitness shouldn’t take over your life, instead of making your life revolve around fitness. That’s when I developed my signature strategies: Micro-Workout Challenges and Protein Anchored Carbohydrate Cycling. These methods work with your real-life commitments, not against them, helping you achieve lasting results without becoming a gym junkie.
I’ve been obsessed with health and fitness since those 240lb days, and that obsession has helped me guide over 700 clients toward their dream physiques. I know what it’s like to struggle, to start over, and to find your way. And I know I can help you too.
